People love to dunk on Microsoft, but at least the Series S & Series X can play a vast majority of games that have ever released on an Xbox system.

It’s embarrassing for Sony to not treat their legacy games with the respect they deserve by not having Backwards Compatibility for anything BUT PS4 so far so for them to rectify that would be a big Plus…no pun intended.
I hope to see Sony’s very own In-House Developed PS3 Emulator for PS5 if those PlayStation Infinite rumors are true. I've never tried this solution myself, though, so I can't speak to how it feels. I've also seen people online bind the CQC and shooting inputs to the left and right analog triggers on like an Xbox or PS4 controller, which RPCS3 apparently interprets correctly. I play as stealthy as possible so it doesn't really bother me (you can still use the guns somewhat inaccurately, but considering I only use them when I'm already spotted I don't really mind). The less perfect part of that solution is that your shooting inputs are perceived as 100% pressure at all times, so you can't properly ready your AK/XM16/Patriot or whatever. This honestly works fine - it was easy to interrogate guards, and I could just choke them out and headshot them with a silenced weapon if I really needed them dead. This meant that any time I grabbed a guard, Snake would not execute him. I used an imperfect solution to get around this feature - I defaulted my inputs to 100% pressure, but set my CQC button as a modifier to like 25% pressure. It also allows you to apply modifiers to that pressure (while button X is pressed down, all inputs are perceived as 25% pressure). RPCS3 actually lets you tell it how "hard" you're pressing the buttons in the controller mapping settings.
